William "Bill"
Garwood Bill has a bachelor’s degree from Rollins College
and a Masters degree from Emory University. He is an
American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) certified home
inspector and holds the “Residential Combination Inspector” (CABO) and
“Rehabilitation Inspector” certifications from the
International Code Council (ICC). Bill is also a certified
mold inspector through the
Environmental Solutions Association
(ESA).
Prior to becoming a home inspector Bill owned and
operated a construction company for 15 years. The combination gives him
30 plus years of experience with residential and light commercial buildings.
Bill has provided expert testimony in construction litigation cases and
has been an inspector for the Residential Warranty Corporation and
Homebuyers 2-10 warranty corporation. In addition to home inspections,
Bill has been
training home inspectors and
teaching building code to
inspectors and builders in the Atlanta area since 1993. |

Jeff Nichols
Jeff received an M.B.A. from the University of Maine. He is an
American Society of Home Inspectors
(ASHI) certified home inspector and holds the "Residential
Combination Inspector" (CABO) certification from the
International Code Council (ICC). He is also a
certified mold inspector through the
Environmental Solutions Association
(ESA).
Prior to becoming a home inspector Jeff had spent a
professional career in business with leadership positions for both large
and small businesses in the high-tech manufacturing sector and as a
college instructor in the School of Business. Since 1993 Jeff has
been a full time home inspector in metro Atlanta. In 1994 he and Bill Garwood were
founding members of what is now
Edifice Training and Development,
training home inspectors and teaching building code to builders and
inspectors in the Atlanta area.

Charles Mann
Charles is an
American Society of Home Inspectors
(ASHI) certified home inspector and holds the "Residential
Combination Inspector" (CABO) certification from the
International Code Council (ICC). He is also a
certified mold inspector through the
Environmental Solutions Association
(ESA) and a member of the
Southface Energy
Institute.
Prior to becoming a full time home inspector in 2001 Charles owned and
operated a residential real estate company that bought, repaired and
sold distressed homes in the metro Atlanta area.

Cromwell Schupp Having been raised in
Atlanta in a family of Architects and builders Cromwell is exceptionally
familiar with residential construction in Georgia. After leaving
Atlanta briefly to earn a degree in marketing and advertising at The
University of North Carolina Cromwell has spent the last 12 years in
residential construction in the Atlanta area. For 8 of those years he
has owned and operated his own construction company and cabinet shop,
taking building projects from conception through design and
construction. He has specialized in the renovations and additions to
some of Atlanta’s great older homes, with work featured in This Old
House Magazine, Better Homes and Gardens, and Paint and Décor. He is
a certified National home inspector as well as certified in mold and
radon testing. He holds certifications from the
International Code Council (ICC) in the Building and plumbing
codes and is working on obtaining full membership in The
American Society of home inspectors (ASHI). |
